How do you clear the Cloudflare cache for one page?

Open the Cloudflare dashboard for the correct zone and use the custom purge option to enter the full URL. Include the scheme, hostname, path, and any relevant query string exactly as cached. Purging https://example.com/page does not necessarily remove a separate entry for https://www.example.com/page.

A page can reference cached CSS, JavaScript, images, and fonts. Purging the HTML alone will not refresh an old asset whose URL is unchanged. Purge the specific asset or deploy it with a new versioned filename or query value. This preserves the rest of the cache and gives visitors a predictable update.

Clear the origin cache or WordPress cache as well if it still serves the old response to Cloudflare. Then test the URL while logged out and inspect the cache-status header. The first request after a purge may be slower because Cloudflare has to fetch the file from the origin again.

For frequent publishing, connect the site’s cache plugin or deployment process to Cloudflare’s purge API with a restricted token. Invalidate only the changed pages and related archives. Protect the token, log its use, and avoid a global purge unless a widespread configuration or content change truly requires it.
